Walker's Rising Stars - Visual Arts Requirements

Walker's Rising Stars Application - Closed

1. A typed cover letter with your name and address
2. One (1) letter of reference. This letter should be from your high school arts teacher or private instructor
3. A photograph suitable for printing (head and shoulders) with your name on the back to be used for the show program if selected as a finalist. Photographs may not be returned

Submit art portfolio including eight works of art as JPGs on a CD-ROM. JPGs should be captured by a 2+ megapixel camera. Set camera for fine or extra fine resolution, not web or normal. For photographs, participants may scan the print at 100% and save as a JPG file. Each JPG file must be at least 1500 x 2100 pixels. Image quality should be at 300 dpi. Each JPG file should be at least one megabyte but no greater than 10 megabytes. Name each artwork file with participant’s last name, first name and work #’s 1–8.

All additional requirements must be turned in to the Pinellas Education Foundation along with your application by January 8, 2010, the visual arts deadline.
