Pinellas Education Foundation’s annual School Supply Drive ensures that students with the greatest need have the tools to succeed in the new school year. Recognizing that thousands of families in our area struggle to afford these critical supplies, we collaborate with the Hillsborough Education Foundation to support students on both sides of the Bay with the Tampa Bay School Supply Drive. You can make a direct impact on a student’s achievement by participating in our school supply drive.
Every day, Pinellas County teachers dedicate themselves to helping students realize their dreams. The Pinellas Education Foundation partners with Pinellas County Schools to recognize excellence in the classroom. For over three decades, we’ve honored our community’s most inspiring teachers with a formal ceremony naming the Pinellas County Teacher of the Year. The winner moves on to represent Pinellas County for the title of Florida Teacher of the Year.
Created by Dr. Jeffrey Walker and the Pinellas Education Foundation, Walker’s Rising Stars Scholarship Competition is a year-long initiative that helps students hone their audition, portfolio, and performance skills. Participants in Walker’s Rising Stars compete for college scholarships in six categories: Culinary Arts, Dance, Instrumental, Theater, Visual Arts, and Vocal Performance.
