It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of our esteemed CEO, Dr. Stacy Baier, from the Pinellas Education Foundation. While we are saddened to see Dr. Baier go, we are incredibly grateful for the many contributions and accomplishments she made during her tenure at the Foundation.
Under Dr. Baier’s leadership, the Pinellas Education Foundation has expanded our work in early literacy and college and career readiness through her strong relationships with the philanthropic community, businesses, and Pinellas County Schools. She has been an unwavering advocate for education and has worked tirelessly to drive our mission of increasing educational achievement for all students in Pinellas County.
Dr. Baier is leaving the Foundation at the end of May. She will be joining Helios Education Foundation as the Senior Vice President, Florida Community Engagement, Operations, and Strategic Partnerships early this summer.
The Board of Directors is finalizing an interim CEO and is in the process of organizing the search for her new successor. We are confident the transition will be smooth for our valued stakeholders, community partners, and fellow education advocates.
We will deeply miss Dr. Baier’s vision, dedication, and passion for education; however, we remain excited for the future and the new opportunities that await us. Please join us in expressing our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Baier and wishing her well as she moves on to the next chapter with our valued partner, Helios Education Foundation.
