We are thrilled to introduce visionary leader and public education advocate, Kim Jowell, as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Pinellas Education Foundation. With an over 25-year career in non-profit leadership, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to growth and positive change.
Kim comes to us from the Hillsborough Education Foundation, where during her tenure as CEO, she expanded programs and almost doubled their revenue stream to support students and teachers in the seventh-largest school district in the country.
Kim was a Businesswoman of the Year in 2022 by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, is a member of the Athena Society, and is the Vice Chair of Organization for the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations.
As a Pinellas County resident, Kim is already ingrained in our local community and raised a family in Pinellas County Schools. Please join us in officially welcoming her to the Pinellas Education Foundation; she began her role on September 25.
As we look to the future, we are confident that Kim will inspire, lead, and drive the Foundation to great heights.
Sincerely,
Tash Elwyn
Chair, Board of Directors for the Pinellas Education Foundation, and President and CEO of Raymond James and Associates
