In honor of Dr. Michael A. Grego’s retirement as Superintendent of Pinellas County Schools, the Pinellas Education Foundation has established the Michael A. Grego, Ed.D. Career and Technical Education Fund, to celebrate his lifetime dedication to public education and serving as a staunch advocate for Career and Technical Education (CTE).
Throughout his 42-year educational career, Dr. Grego advocated for strong CTE programming. While Superintendent of Pinellas, the district experienced tremendous growth in magnet, STEM and career education programs and grew career and technical certifications from 1,500 a year to more than 15,200. Additionally, Dr. Grego was instrumental in establishing the Richard O. Jacobson Technical High School, Pinellas County’s only high school dedicated to Career and Technical Education.
We invite you to donate to the Michael A. Grego, Ed.D. Career and Technical Education Fund to show your thanks and appreciation to Dr. Grego for his tremendous impact on our community.
