This week, members of our Stavros Career Education Board visited Osceola High School to review the Culinary Academy for a potential Academy of Distinction recognition. After a tour of the academy and in-depth conversations with the students, teachers, and administration, the attending members will present its recommendation to the full Stavros Career Education Board in December. If approved, the academy will receive additional funding from the Pinellas Education Foundation and school district and be recognized during a Pinellas County School Board meeting in February. ...
